Hi, I'm Esther

I started with succulents and farmers markets. For a while, I said yes to everything. I took on too many projects and tried to bring too many dreams to life at once. I learned a lot that way, mostly through trial and error, about what I actually love doing.

Then I found preserved nature art and custom centerpieces, and everything shifted. I have a lot of passions, but this is the one that brings me the most joy. It's also the one where you get to be part of every detail. Real moss, real fern, real wood, real elements, naturally preserved so they keep their color and texture and never ask anything of you. Making that shift is the best thing I've done for my work.

I learn by messing up

The more I mess up, the better I learn. I've glued things that shouldn't have been glued, sourced moss that turned out wrong, and told a client a date I couldn't hit. I'll always admit when I'm wrong. Those mistakes taught me to slow down, communicate better and plan my timelines honestly. Getting your piece to you on time is now one of my biggest priorities, and since learning those lessons, I've been able to keep that promise.

My work is personal, and so is the way I work with you. You'll get updates along the way, a call when it helps, and a real person on the other end. My hope is that you leave with more than a piece. Maybe a friendship, and a place in this little community I'm building.

My kids are in this

My studio is in my home, and my kids have their own corner of it. It's a little space set up just for them, with their own bark, moss, stones and odds and ends - typically found around the yard, where they make whatever they dream up while I work on mine. They never touch my pieces. That part of the studio is mine, and theirs is theirs. But we're in the same room, hands busy, making things side by side. I love that they're growing up seeing that you can build something beautiful out of what you find outside, and I love that my work gets to happen alongside their messy, wonderful creations.

Raw, unfiltered relationships

I don't want a transactional business. I want to know what room your piece is going in and who's going to sit in front of it. I'll tell you honestly if what you're asking for won't work, and I'll tell you when I've gotten something wrong on my end. That's the relationship on offer. It's the part of this I care most about.

Nature is beautiful in so many different ways, just like us. Your art should be as unique as nature itself. I'm based in Texas, creating pieces for the spaces you care about — from a driftwood sculpture for your home to biophilic office decor that brings real nature into your workday.

How I actually build a piece
