Frequently asked
- Is preserved nature art really maintenance-free?
- Yes. No water, no light requirement, no feeding. Dust it occasionally with a soft brush and keep it out of direct sun and standing moisture.
- How long does a preserved piece last?
- Indoors, often a decade or more. It isn't a seasonal decoration.
- Does it look real?
- It doesn't look real — it is real. Genuine moss, fern and wood, preserved rather than living.
- Are the pieces one of a kind?
- Every Signature and Botanical Accents piece is built around a unique branch, so no two are alike. Home & Garden items (live plants, decor) are made in small batches and repeat.
- How do the live plants in Home & Garden differ?
- Those are alive and need care — light and occasional water. Each product page lists exactly what that means. We keep this tier clearly separate from the preserved work.
- How is a large piece shipped?
- Signature pieces ship crated and packed by hand. Lead times are listed on each product page; commissions run months, not days.
- Can I commission something custom?
- Yes — that's a large part of what the studio does. It starts with a consultation about the space and the feeling you want it to hold.
- Can I send a piece as a gift?
- Yes. There's a gift-note field at checkout, and we leave prices off the packing slip.
- Why don't I see prices on some pieces?
- We're finalizing an updated price list for the catalog. Until it's published, we confirm pricing for those pieces by email before anything is charged.
