Art for your space, or a functional piece for everyday
Why it calms you
A room that stops fighting you
A San Diego law firm put one of our pieces in the room where they handle their hardest litigation. An employee later told us that people in the middle of those meetings would end up staring at it — and you could watch the tension leave their faces.
That's the job. Not decoration that happens to be green.
Climate pledge
0.5% of every sale funds carbon removal
Every piece I send out contributes to permanent carbon removal through Stripe Climate — funding the technologies that pull carbon back out of the air. Real nature, cared for both ways.
As unique as nature
Your art should be as unique as nature itself
Every piece starts from one unrepeatable natural element — a grapewood branch, a manzanita limb — and gets shaped by hand around whatever that branch already wants to do. There's no blueprint and no second copy.
“Nothing will ever be just like this.”

Meet the maker
Hi, I'm Esther
I build these in my studio, usually with my kids underfoot helping with the glue gun and the bark. I'm not interested in a polished, transactional version of this business — I'd rather have raw, unfiltered relationships with the people I make for. The more I mess up, the better I learn.

In their words
See what customers are saying
“Esther leads an incredibly full life, which makes the amount of care and intention she puts into every Rooted in Peace piece even more remarkable. I ordered one of her creations for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday — it was absolutely gorgeous. Even the card was a plantable seed card. Rooted in Peace is truly something special.”
“Esther creates the most wonderful plant arrangements. She created a beautiful arrangement for my office that compliments what I want to offer my clients — health and healing. She takes the time to check in on how my plants are doing and taught me how to care for them.”
“I'm currently living overseas and wanted to make sure 3 Mother's Day plants were delivered on time, so I chose Rooted in Peace. Everything was handled quickly and with such a thoughtful, personalized touch. All the mothers absolutely loved their unique gifts.”
